You like gothic horror movies? Vampires and werewolves and things that howl out their anguish in the darkness of night? Yeah... with just the right creepy music to help you experience the true fascination of that gothic mansion or the spooky castle - which is always at the end of a dirt track, miles from anywhere.
Horror's come a long way since Shelley's missus wrote Frankenstein - but maybe not that far. Nowadays, we can watch it, instead of having to read and imagine it for ourselves, and special effects have come so far in recent years that it's possible for a good director to make anyone's skin crawl - maybe even provoke a few nightmares. And then there's chick horror - ala Twilight and the rest...
Moving onto TV, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of my favorite shows and I just invested in the complete series on DVD. I'm not so impressed by Charmed, as it seemed like a bit of a rip-off if you ask me. Maybe you have other favorites.
As for music, it's hard for me to write about, because it's like the air I breathe, I tend to just let it flow over me, without paying too much attention to who it is I'm listening to.
